Some days are better than others, but I still try to see the positive. Do you? What can you be thankful for today?

Thankfully, I was stung not on my eyeball. It still hurt, but I was able to pull off the road safely to check that the stinger was out. My eye is a little swollen, but I am thankful I’m not allergic to whatever it was.

Cleats (biking shoes) Nope - oops!
Did I say, “I can’t ride” since I forgot to bring my cleats? Not at all!

Squirrel 🐿️ Cleats are cycling shoes that clip into the pedals so you can pull and push with each stroke.

Did my friends tease me? Yes
Was I able to ride as hard as I could have? No.
Was it hard to keep my feet on the pedals? Yes
Did I ride anyway? Yes
Did I have fun? Yes

Life isn’t always about being fully prepared. Sometimes
you just have to do things and not worry about everything being perfect. That is were I am. Just doing what I am being called to do. Just doing the next right thing. Trust, obey, and enjoy life. Don’t worry about having it all together. Learn to laugh at yourself…like I had to do today.
